My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

Testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from testicular cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men from dying too young.

As a cancer survivor, I hope that I am able to make a difference and bring to everyone's attention the importance of being aware of your body and being comfortable to be able to talk with friends, family, and medical professionals when something does not feel right.

When I was originally diagnosed, I thought it was just a pulled muscle from sports and the discomfort would go away in a few weeks. The discomfort turned into pain and started to worsen as time went on. As a teenager, I was embarrassed to go to the doctor due to where the pain was coming from. When I eventually made it to the doctor cancer had spread through my lymphatic system. This was just a matter of weeks from the initial discomfort. I remember my original diagnoses where the doctor informed me that cancer I had was very aggressive and I was in for a fight. I was diagnosed with a metastatic nonseminoma germ cell tumor. I had various treatments like surgeries, multiple cycles, and rounds of chemotherapy treatments with a tandem-stem cell transplant. I was lucky to respond well to treatments and now I am growing a Mo every year to raise awareness for all men's health! It is important to know how the twins feel and to check yourself every couple of weeks!

Thank-you for your commitment and support.

We've now arrived at Movember 30 and everyone in this challenge should pause for a moment to reflect on an amazing job done, what can only be described as an epic 'stache and an impressive commitment to help change the face of men's health.

As Mo season is coming to a close, I want to flag that the leaderboards will officially close on Thursday, December 7th at 5 pm EST, marking the moment we crown our 2023 Movember champions of each challenge. While donations can still be received after this time, please note that they won't contribute to the leaderboard race.

Thanks for all you have done this year and will continue to do as we move forward.
