Mental health and suicide prevention

After a few years off, I thought it was time to shave off the beard once again and grow a glorious 'Mo to raise funds and awareness for men's health. The money raised supports health projects across mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Having raised over $8,000 since 2010, I wanted to once again grow some peach fuzz on my upper lip to help the cause. The reality is, globally, around 10.8M men are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. As well, men account for 69% of all suicides across the world. Movember is working on Canadian initiatives like the Ironman Registry, who are using clinical outcomes across 10 countries to better understand and manage advanced prostate cancer. They are also working on the Mental Game campaign, which breaksdown the barriers surrounding the stigma of men's mental health between 18-35 year old males. These are the types of initiatives I want to help with, and I'm asking you to help me raise some funds so we can stop men from dying too young.
