It's been a few years, but unfortunately for everyone around me I feel the need to grow the mo again.

Prostate cancer has always been very active in my family and so far I've managed to avoid it, but unfortunately I feel it's only a matter of time. More importantly I would love for this disease to be a thing of the past once my kid reaches my age.

Also, let's not forget about mental health; generations of men (including mine) were raised in a culture that made it seem uncool (or unmanly) to talk about our feelings. I hope (and do believe) that this is changing, but we've got a long ways to to go.

So I'm taking up the Mo-Mantle so that this affliction can eventually be a thing of the past for all future generations.

Seriously, prostate cancer (and mental health) has affected too many people in my family. Growing this thing is the least I can do to support them.

Prostate cancer has been very active in my family and it struck again recently with a very close family member. So I'm taking up the Mo-Mantle so that this disease can be eradicated before my son potentially gets it.

And so the journey begins with a clean-shaven face.
