Prostate cancer

It has been almost 12 years since I had surgery to remove my cancerous prostate. I am cancer free and happy that I took early action. My younger brother passed away last spring and prostate cancer was a contributing factor. I have a close friend who has late stage prostate cancer. However, I have friends who have been recently treated for prostate cancer and are now being monitored to ensure they stay cancer free. I have sons and grandsons and since my father and I both had prostate cancer I worry for them. Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Take action to protect your health and influence the men in your life to also be proactive. Awareness, treatment and research activities are vital to successfully fighting this disease. I don't want my family, or anyone else's loved ones to have to face this disease. To demonstrate my commitment and to honour your donation, I will grow the best facial hair that I can and will exercise every day of the month. Let's work together to eventually eliminate prostate cancer.
