More great news from the Prostate Cancer Canada - 5 million dollars of funding has been awarded to a collaborative group of researchers as who are the recipients of the 2013 Movember Team Grant! The goal of this grant is to support trans-Canadian research teams, providing an increasingly united approach to changing the face of men's health.
These grants fund multidisciplinary approaches to answer specific questions in the prostate cancer world. Different thought streams, including prostate cancer biology, treatment, diagnoses, survivorship and prevention, are brought together through teamwork and collaboration.
The Movember Team Grant program is the largest open research competition in PCC's history.
