Oil Rig Rumble 2022: Thank you for digging deep for men’s health

After a hairy, exciting and successful Movember, the dust has settled on some incredible results from the Oil Rig Rumble. Thanks to the efforts 65 teams and 1000+ individuals across Canada’s oil and gas sector, a staggering $1,053,975 was raised for men’s health. These life-changing funds will go towards groundbreaking men’s health projects across mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. The strides made and lives changed in the year ahead would not be possible without this incredible effort. We thank all those involved in 2022’s Oil Rig Rumble for your generousity, passion, and continued support.

The annual Movember Oil Rig Rumble is the industry’s chance to drill into men’s health awareness while competing for fundraising glory against names big and small across the oil and gas sector. Uniting the industry for 30 days, important conversations are started, connections made, and fun is had while doin’ good among your teammates.

But one clear winner stood out in 2022. This year’s trophy, title and glory went to SECURE Energy. Collectively this group of over 150 Mo Bros and Mo Sisters raised an incredible $346,500 throughout the month of Movember. Living the SECURE way is all about treating others well, being a great team member and doing the right thing. From hosting a health fair and Movember Can We Talk mental health sessions to spin cycling events and bake sales, Movember was a meaningful moment for all on the SECURE Team.
