Our Motivation

This Movember, ARC created Team ARC Resources in support of men’s health. Friends, family and ARC employees are coming together to grow a mo or join as a mo sister to raise awareness and funds in support of the Movember Foundation and the three biggest health issues affecting men: mental health and suicide prevent, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Men face unique challenges and today’s stigmas of ‘tough it out’ and ‘be a man’ continue to impact the men in our lives and prevent them from reaching out to talk, be vulnerable and access support. It’s important for all of us to support our male colleagues and the men in our lives.
We’re proud to support the Movember Foundation and everyone getting involved. We’re excited to see what we can accomplish together this year!

Here's a real life story that hits really close to home for me... This is my cousin, he is a wonderful man, husband and father to 3 young children. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer a year ago and given 2-4 months to live!!! He is still with us, and still fighting. But he is running out of time and options.... He is currently receiving treatments in Mexico that claim a 60% success rate. Those treatments are not yet available in Canada!!! We need to help change that!! Every dollar counts
