Proud to share a Mo'ment with my two sons and their Soccer Teams - We got a chance to talk about the importance of both self-care and peer-care! We discussed Testicular and Prostate cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Most importantly we discussed breaking down the toxic stigmas surrounding men's health and the importance of prevention, open communication, where/how to ask for help. It's OK to not be Ok!!
Thank you to the NVFC U15 Arsenal and NVFC U13 Wild Teams/Families for supporting this cause!!
Together, we are stopping young men from dying too young!!

Senior VP, Industrial & Mental Health & Wellness Executive Sponsor.

Every year, Ledcor proudly supports the Movember Foundation, an international charity that supports men's health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. As Ledcor’s Mental Health & Wellness Executive Sponsor, I am committed to raising awareness about the significance of Movember and focusing on mental health as part of Ledcor’s safety culture.

The Movember Foundation encourages growing a mustache as one way to show support. However, you can also contribute by doing a MOve Challenge, such as walking or biking daily for November. Women can also support the cause through donations, raising awareness, and supporting men’s health. You can join or donate to one of Ledcor’s Movember Teams online. Ledcor will match all individual donations up to $40,000. If you choose to sign up individually, join the Ledcor “Challenge” on the Movember website to receive the Ledcor Match or reach out to Rob Reid.

There are other ways to learn more and get involved: 

1. Men's health talk and what Movember does with the money raised: Friday, November 8th, 11:30am-12:30pm PST.

2. Movember SpeakEasy session hosted by Next Gen Men: Friday, November 22nd 11:00am-12:30pm PST.

3. Join the Movember channel on Microsoft Teams to engage in the conversation about men’s health and stay up to date on location-specific events organized by individual Movember teams.

4. Visit the Movember page on Ledcor Connect for additional Movember resources. ***AND TO REGISTER FOR THE ABOVE MENTIONED EVENTS.
