My motivation

The ultimate goal is to have a support system for men at risk of testicular and colon cancer to rely on. Movember allows me and others raise funds for programs that do just that. They are a non-profit focused on men’s cancers and also, recently, mental health (we all need a shoulder to lean on)
I don’t ask you donate if funds are tight but I DO ask that you check in with the men in your life and ask them to get checked if they haven’t recently.
If you do wish to donate, know that you are helping me get to become the top fundraising fire fighter in Canada
Cheers

Week 2 of the Great Canadian Fire Challenge is wrapping up!

Two weeks in, and fire halls across the country are showing just how strong this community is. The Mos are coming in hot, crews are rallying together, and conversations about men’s health are happening in stations and communities from coast to coast.

The momentum has been incredible — firefighters and first responders are stepping up, raising awareness, fundraising, and supporting each other in ways that truly make a difference.

Check out this week’s leaderboard and see where your hall stands.

Let’s carry this energy into Week 3. Keep growing, keep moving, and keep looking out for your crew — on and off duty.
