There is a darkness that lingers not in shadow, but in silence. Too long have men borne their burdens alone, believing strength lies in stoicism and pain must be hidden. But I say this: true courage is found in the sharing of sorrow, in the speaking of truth, and in the embrace of vulnerability.

I have walked many paths, but none so profound as the one I now tread as a father. The days are not always light, nor the nights always restful. Yet in the eyes of my son, I see the future — and I would have it be one of healing, not hiding. Let him grow knowing that to be a man is not to be unfeeling, but to be whole.

The world suffers still. The toll of silence is grave, and too many good men are lost to it. So I raise my voice, and my mustache, in defiance of despair. Let this be our stand — to speak, to feel, to live. Help me stop men dying too young. For even the smallest light can hold back the night.
