My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

There are many reasons why I decided to fundraise for the cause this year. One being that I had a family member who passed away from cancer in 2019 and he meant a lot to me. Another is that mental health is a very un talked about subject especially in men. With the whole idea that men are fine and can’t talk about their feelings thousands of men die every single year from suicide alone and millions suffer with mental illness like myself and it’s hard for them to talk about it. I want to raise money to help cancer research and to help keep men alive and healthy. So if you notice your friend (male or female) is struggling with anything mentally please reach out to them.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
