RAISE FUNDS FOR MEN'S HEALTH

Get involved at work

Everything you need to do Movember at work is right here. Planning checklist. Leadership support pitch. Fundraising and event ideas. And more.

Four ways to fundraise

Choose as many as you like. Then use your Mo Space to ask for donations and keep friends updated throughout the month.

  1. Grow: Grow a moustache to change men’s health.
  2. Move: Run or walk 60km for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, globally.
  3. Host: A big cook-up? Trivia night? Workplace bake-off? If you can throw it, you can Host it – for men’s health.
  4. Mo Your Own Way: Where you make the rules. Go big, go weird. Most importantly: GO YOU!

Build your Movember team

Break down the silos. Get people from every department on board. The only experience required is a strong desire to have fun – and change men’s health.

Set your team goals

Agree on what success looks like. Set realistic targets. This also helps make clear to everyone why you’re behind Movember - and keeps them invested, too.

Let the fun begin

Launch your fundraising. Think about events that can happen throughout the month. Consider a 30-day Move challenge to get everyone onboard.

The Movember milestones to hit throughout the month

Mid-October

Put the call out: “Join our Movember team!”

Introduce the cause, the four ways to get involved and ask your colleagues to sign up.

Late October

“Ready, set, Mo!” Use the final days before kick-off to build hype, excitement and sign-ups.

Time to make a Growmitment: do Movember!

Get started by sharing tips on how to get fundraising moving.

Mid-Movember

“Halfway there” Celebrate the wins. Think shout-outs for Top Fundraiser, Most Creative Fundraiser, Best Mustache/Mustache, Fastest Mover, etc.

Make it an all-staff meeting where the first point on the agenda is to connect and have fun!

Late Movember

“The final push” This is no time to stop. Keep pushing to the final bell.

Many friends, colleagues and connections wait until the last days to donate. All they need is one last reminder.

Early December

“Made a Growmitment” Give the workplace wrap-up. How much was raised. What the highlights were. And the impact everyone helped make.

Supercharge your donations

Unlock opportunities by showing your Corporate Social Responsibility team how Movember aligns with social impact and community goals. Ask them about:

  • Gift/Donation Matching: Many employers match what's raised - sometimes more. Ask HR or your manager directly.
  • Corporate Grants: Ask about a direct financial award from a company to a specific Movember program.
  • In-Kind Donations: Companies donate goods or services, building brand goodwill alongside the cause.
  • Payroll Giving: Your employer withholds after-tax earnings each pay period as an ongoing contribution.
  • Employee Volunteer Grants: Employees donate time and expertise in exchange for a grant awarded to Movember
