My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

I used to grow a terribly cheesy moustache & look like a pedophile or 70's porn star. It always drew attention to Movember and that's all that really matters.
Since 2012, I have raised over $98,500 for Movember and I am looking to crack the $100,000 mark this year.
I had a prostate cancer scare in 2014, which made me focus more attention on my health & men's health.
In 2017, we lost our home to the BC Wildfires, which opened my eyes to mental health issues, both personally and in general! I work in the male dominated forest industry and see a lot of men working in isolation and living unhealthy lifestyles.
I hope my Movember initiatives continue to help raise awareness of Men's Health Issues (Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Mental Health, Mental Illness, Suicide Prevention, Physical Inactivity, Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Choices).

It's been a flurry of Movember activity since I sent our my Movember 2023 - Week #1 message this morning. I have received the following donations so far today: Rob Barta - $50, Glen Williamson - $50, Ken Pedersen - $100, my sister in law - Amber Flamand - $150 and John Gooding - $50.
