Today, MR PORTER Health In Mind, the content and fundraising initiative from the award-winning online destination for men’s style, launches a charitable fund: the MR PORTER Health in Mind Fund Powered by Movember. The fund, which was developed as the philanthropic arm to MR PORTER Health In Mind, provides a way for MR PORTER to raise donations around greater MR PORTER Health In Mind awareness campaigns and initiatives that benefit Movember’s ground-breaking work in men’s mental and physical health.

MR PORTER Health In Mind launched in July, with the roll-out of a monthly content series that both publishes in MR PORTER’s weekly online magazine, The Journal, and lives on the MR PORTER Health in Mind hub. The hub offers fresh and archival men’s health and wellness content, directions to donate to the Fund, and specially-created product to benefit the Fund.

For the Fund’s launch, MR PORTER will debut an exclusive range of limited-edition Mr P. t-shirts designed in collaboration with fashion industry insiders from our debut MR PORTER Health In Mind story on friendship.  The participants involved – Fear of God’s Mr Jerry Lorenzo (whose children provided the designs), Deveaux’s Mr Matthew Breen and Mr Tommy Ton, and Sefr’s Mr Sinan Abi and Mr Per Fredrikson – were given the following brief:

What makes you happy? What quality do you appreciate most in others? What’s your best piece of advice for keeping calm?

What makes you happy? What quality do you appreciate most in others? What’s your best piece of advice for keeping calm?

The result, offered in five interpreted designs, features printed silkscreens with words such as “compassion,” “prayer” and “family” (from Jerry Lorenzo and his children) to a surreal field of dogs (from Matthew Breen and Tommy Ton), through to an abstract-cubist portrait of an individual in repose (from Sinan Abi and Per Frederikson). The t-shirts, printed on grey and white Mr P. own label t-shirts, will be sold for £65/€75/$95, and 100% of net profits* will be donated by MR PORTER to the MR PORTER Health In Mind Fund powered by Movember.

The limited-edition Mr P. T-shirts will be available in the UK, Middle East, Asia and Australia beginning Thursday, October 10th and available in the US, Canada, Europe and Latin America early the week of October 14th.

To further celebrate, tonight in London, MR PORTER will host an invitation-only fundraiser featuring raffles, prizes, entertainment, and special performances. Follow MR PORTER’s social channels and the hashtag #MRPORTERHealthInMind to join along.

"It’s important that we not only shine a light on the specific issues that face the modern man, but to also support partners who are doing the expert work and research in the men’s health space.”

“We’re thrilled to be celebrating the launch of the MR PORTER Health In Mind Fund powered by Movember.  It’s important that we not only shine a light on the specific issues that face the modern man, but to also support partners who are doing the expert work and research in the men’s health space.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with MR PORTER, creating the MR PORTER Health In Mind Fund, which is powered by Movember. Through MR PORTER Health in Mind we have an unparalleled opportunity to bring often ignored subjects surrounding men’s health into the public consciousness. Over the coming years we will work together to educate men and make them more aware of the health issues they face, while raising funds for initiatives that will enable them to live healthier, happier, longer lives’
