For the last 13 years my motivation for Movember has always been my husband who beat testicular cancer. I remember early in my Movember journey I met a woman who lost her son because he was too ashamed to tell anyone something was wrong. This story has stuck with me because this woman believed that if only her son had said something he might still be alive today. I've learned that there are sad stories and there are happy stories. Another story comes from a woman who told me about her son who was a little later to the discovery of his testicular cancer, but still beat the odds and he was expecting his first child. It was the first time I'd met someone who had such a similar experience to myself and so I shared my story with her. She was so grateful to hear a story so similar have a happy ending. The people of Movember are amazing for what they do and I want to help make a better world for my sons and help create more of these happy endings.
