Week 2: As foretold by legend, the great hornéd ram has begun to manifest on my head.

Day 2: This has already gone further than I expected, so I'd like to just say that what specifically got me to jump on board was a company email (of all things) that mentioned the high rate of male suicides. I think that's a tragically overlooked reality: for boys and men age 15-40, suicide is the second leading cause of death after accidents, which includes everything from accidental drownings to car crashes. Think about that for a minute, if you have a son or a brother - men are committing suicide at 3-4 times the rate women do for any given age, and it's not something we talk about, despite the horrendously high rates.
My platform here may be tiny but that's my focus. Let's take this problem seriously.

This year I'm participating with the company I work for, Shaw Cablesystems. There are a lot of people throughout the company that are big supporters of this cause and I think it's great that they've promoted it among the staff, so here I am, trying to help out again.
