Middle-aged men (50-64 yrs) die by suicide more than anyone else in Canada. Men also account for 75% of the ~4,500 reported suicides each year. These stats are heartbreaking. Social isolation, traditional masculinity norms and mental health-related stigma all act as barriers to men seeking help. Movember is on a mission to make lasting change and dramatically reduce the rate of male suicides through its funding of community-based early intervention and mental health programming. I hope you'll help me drive meaningful, lifesaving change by donating to this important cause. Thank you for your support!
