I have recently taken steps to improve my mental health after a very stressful year. Taking the first step was very hard. I can only imagine how much harder it would be if stigma and societal norms also worked against me as it does for many men who need this help.

And this doesn't even begin to consider the unequitableness of health. Economics, family background, geographic and generational impacts.

Movember goes to men where they are to help destigmatize mental health, therapy and talking about suicide by improving norms, systems and behaviors. Because when the whole man is healthy we all benefit.

This is why I Movember - so that the first step to better health is easier for men to take and more men live happier, healthier and long lives.
