Our Motivation

Our teams motivation is Men’s overall health and no better place to start with moving. Strong believe that a healthy body helps with a healthy mind. Our goal is a min of 60km by each member of this team; I will be attempting 120-150km in a combination of running, rowing and soccer.

Why 60 km; because sadly every 60 seconds a man takes his own life.

I’ve been doing this for a few years now, started off as a joke to grow a moustache but as I’ve lost friends and families to cancer, had friends battle cancer and mental health and seen young men go too soon I have pushed it even more. Men simply don’t go to the doctors enough to catch these things early. So my goal as well as movembers goal is to promote a healthy man, so we can live longer to support our loved ones. Because it is not “manly” to avoid your health and potentially leave loved ones behind.
