Well... it's Movember.

2025 has been a challenge. Pretty early this year I received word about the tragic passing of a dear life long friend. The last thought running through my mind was that he had taken his own life. Sadly this was the reality.

He was a very strong Movember supporter so I had a hard time coming to grips with the fact that someone who was so aware of Movember and all the supports but yet still took his life.

Things like this really shake your belief system and cause you to wonder if you're having an impact. I have to look at it as a call to try to bring more attention and awareness to such an important cause. If it can happen to him it could happen to anyone.

It is important for people to know that there are resources for men and that talking about it is the first step.

This is Round 5 for my Mo and it's sad for me to be adding a name to my extremely unfortunate list of men that have passed due to mental heath. I believe if my friend could see the aftermath of his passing it would break his heart. So much Anger and sadness.

Please take a moment to learn about the alarming statistics when it comes to men's mental health.

I do what I can to bring awareness to this by proudly sporting a Mario inspired Movember stache.

If you have a few bucks to support a global campaign to bring much needed awareness to all Men's Health issues that would be great.
If you're tight for cash, believe me I get it. If so then just have a look at the Movember site or even just reach out to the men in your life and see how they are doing. I try my best to do this throughout the year but life has a way of getting in the way but this is a good reminder.

To the people around me, please know that I am a place to turn for a conversation if they are ever struggling (we all know I love to talk, but I will try my best to just listen lol).

I want to firmly state that I don't do this for fame or glory. There is no prizes for raising the money. It's a personal choice and I appreciate those who take the time to learn about Movember, it's support, and to encourage more people to reach out to the men in your life and say “hi, how are you?"
Be present. This will Help.

Lastly, a HUGE THANK YOU each and every one of you that has supported me, each other & Movember in the past, present or in the future.

Tina stumbled across this movie a few weeks ago and it is quite funny as it pertains to a specific mustache that is loved by one and hated by another LOL.
