My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

I'm on board again to raise funds to tackle some of the biggest health issues faced by men, especially mental health, and with a special focus this year on prostate cancer screening. Male suicide rates are alarmingly high! Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce male suicide rates by 25% by 2030.

Furthermore, I am raising awareness about the importance of getting regular Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) tests. A close family friend was diagnosed with prostate cancer. However, they only found the cancer because he does annual PSA tests. Thankfully, they caught the cancer early, and removed his prostate. The Father of a close friend of mine was not so lucky; he recently passed away from prostate cancer that spread to other parts of his body. Any man above the age of 50 should be going for these tests annually! They are quick and easy tests.
