Men's health

The Movember Foundation is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young. I'm also doing this for our future men in training.

As a father of two great young men, my wife and i show them how physical and mental health is important. As young men they are going through a lot of changes and situations that I have never gone through myself it's a whole different world then when we grew up as I'm sure most of us would agree.

Im doing this again this year for my family and the young men in all the familes that we have connected with. For those who have struggled through the COVID years. As well for my best friend in high-school who decided taking his life I wish we could have talked more and grown up together.

We've now arrived at Movember 30 and everyone in this challenge should pause for a moment to reflect on an amazing job done, what can only be described as an epic 'stache and an impressive commitment to help change the face of men's health.

As Mo season is coming to a close, I want to flag that the leaderboards will officially close on Thursday, December 7th at 5 pm EST, marking the moment we crown our 2023 Movember champions of each challenge. While donations can still be received after this time, please note that they won't contribute to the leaderboard race.

Thanks for all you have done this year and will continue to do as we move forward.

A reminder that next Tuesday we will draw 4 winners for companies to send 10 players to lace up their skates for a game of hockey against other Rumblers on NHL ice at Rogers Place arena in Edmonton on Tuesday, December 5.

How To Enter For Your Chance To Win
Companies participating in the 2023 Oil Rig Rumble Challenge will automatically receive one entry to the contest when they raise $20,000 CAD, and an additional entry for every $5,000 raised above and beyond. On November 21st we will randomly draw 4 companies from those eligible to send 10 players each to fill the roster.
