My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

For the last 13 years I have been participating and fundraising on behalf of Movember. I started because I thought growing a moustache was fun(ny), and over the years I’ve grown (pun intended) to realize all of the things this organization does. For example, Movember recently announced that they are funding the first ever subarctic indigenous mental health addictions centre right in our backyard, in Churchill, Manitoba. This month isn’t just about facial hair; it’s about putting important and often overlooked issues into the light where they can’t be missed. In the 13 years I’ve taken part in Movember, I have raised $6,140, and I’m going to continue putting myself out there every year for a cause I believe in. Thank-you for your commitment and support.

We've now arrived at Movember 30 and everyone in this challenge should pause for a moment to reflect on an amazing job done, what can only be described as an epic 'stache and an impressive commitment to help change the face of men's health.

As Mo season is coming to a close, I want to flag that the leaderboards will officially close on Thursday, December 7th at 5 pm EST, marking the moment we crown our 2023 Movember champions of each challenge. While donations can still be received after this time, please note that they won't contribute to the leaderboard race.

Thanks for all you have done this year and will continue to do as we move forward.
