My goal is to educate those around me that is okay to ask for help.

Whether it is your physical health, or your mental health, raising a hand when you need to is a sign of strength. Certain topics can be embarrassing to discuss with your doctor, but I can assure you it is not as embarrassing as I feel growing a mustache! And I can also assure you your Doctor has seen it all, and much, much more besides! It wasn’t until becoming a father that I came to understand what it truly means to have people depend on you. So take a cue from my mo’ and get yourself checked out! You wouldn’t keep driving your car or motorbike if you felt a bit of a wobble – you’d take it in to get looked at by the professionals. Right? Then why treat yourself any differently? Especially if you’re over 40 like me and the warranty period is running short!! And when they get older, those people who depend on you may just thank you for it.
