Well. As you can see, my MO is nearly done. If anything, the trucker needs a good trim. But, can't say I'm motivated to do anything other than shave it off! And so, on December 1, it will indeed come off, despite encouragement from more than a few of you to cultivate the "new look." Hmm. Thank you again to those who've supported my epic journey into the MO this past month. It's been wonderful to hear from you all, and to have experienced first-hand your great generosity, kindness, and compassion. If you've been waiting to see if I'd really stick it out before supporting my MO for mens' health, you can still do so for a few more days here at my MO site. Once again, thank you all! Trucker, out!

That's it! I did it! Went out and bought me a big 'ol rig to go with the 'stache! Road trip! As we near the half-way point in this epic journey, I want to thank you all for your most generous support of my MO!

Dear Joel, Now that you are a week into your mustache-growing exercise, I am in a better position to offer my unsolicited opinion about your epic, historic expedition of defacing yourself with facial hair. After I received your announcement of embarking on this new journey, I originally thought it was cool. However, last weekend I was at a party where the host also grew a mustache. I changed my mind. My careful observation of my host last weekend drove me to the conclusion that mustache-growing was a retro look popularized by the Russian Czars, a throwback to the medieval heyday of bodily odors. Given that Peter the Great had reformed the facial attire of Russian men, shouldn't you, a modern day professor, avoid jumping back to the old fad? These are my two cents. Stan Li
